Johnny Depp, Kate Moss, Meryl
Streep, Gary Barlow, James Cordon, Sean Penn and Tom Ford are just some of the
famous faces appearing in the video.
The video was shot in
London's iconic Abbey Road studios earlier this month and was directed by Simon
Aboud. It shows a cast of celebrities reacting to hearing the track in
different ways while Macca plays on.
'Queenie Eye' is the first
video from McCartney's most recent album 'New', which was released on October
14 and features production from Mark Ronson, Paul Epworth and Ethan Johns, who
has previously worked with Kings Of Leon and Laura Marling. Long-term McCartney
collaborator Giles Martin also features on the album's production credits.
Speaking about the track,
McCartney recalled in a statement: "It came from a street game I use to
play as a kid. Those kind of things always stick with you. I always liked the
rhythm of the chant."
