Carine Roitfeld: M.A.C Collection

Carine Roitfeld is on fire, not only is she releasing her own magazine at the end of the year, but she also has time to collaborate with M.A.C cosmetics to create a new makeup collection entirely on her. Roitfeld's beauty signature is a dramatic, smokey eye, and the collection mirrors that look with dark eye shadows, bold brown colors, and nude lipsticks. She not only decided on the color palette but she advised on the package and design. Not bad! We love the collection!

The collection is composed of four eye-shadows, a cream blend lush, eye brows in brunette, kohl power eye pencil, fluid-line, 49 lash, two mascaras, a tropical mist lipstick, face and body foundation, mineralize concealer, nail lacquer, and blushes to create dramatic eyes. 
The collection became available on September 6

Oscar de la Renta: Polishes / Fragrances

Oscar De La Renta, one of the most respected fashion designers just launched it's first line of nail polishes, plus a new line of fragrances. 

De La Renta's new line of nail polishes is composed of three colors: Red Carnation, a deep red, Aubergine, black and Larimer a baby blue shade. All colors seen on his fall runway show earlier this year. The three shades will be sold exclusively through, and if you want one you better hurry because only 700 bottles were produced!  

For Fashion's Night Out the designer launched his new line of fragrances, named Essential Luxuries. The line is composed of six delicious scents:

- Sargasso: reminiscent of De La Renta's home lapped by waves of the Sargasso Sea, has fragrant notes of salty air, fresh citrus, seaweed and refreshing cucumber. 
- Santo Domingo: where the designer was born, has a sweet spicy notes of coffee and tobacco leaves tinged with spicy mandarin, coriander, and patchouli notes. 
- Oriental Lace: meant to reflect the colorful luminous collections of the fashion designer, has notes of hoya carnosa flower, as well as honey, bitter almond, and dark cacao. 
- Carolina: inspired by the semi-precious stone from his birthplace, is a mimosa, violet, and orris eau.
- Mi Corazon: dedicated to his beloved daughter Eliza and sharing a precious memory with her, comprise notes of ylang-ylang petals mingled with touches of exotic peach.
- Granada: inspired by a trip in Spain, has notes of Jasmine, rose and orange blossoms, reflecting the lushness of the gardens of the city.

Piperlime: Introduces Rachel Roy / Opens First Store In NY

Are you a fan of Piperlime like us? We love to shop in their website, they have the best brands in shoes, handbags, apparel, and accessories, all in one place! Just recently they added Rachel Roy's shoe collection. A line composed of clean silhouettes and architectural heels. Piperlime just keeps getting better and better. 

Besides introducing Rachel Roy to their e-shop, Piperlime opened the doors to it's first full-scale retail location at 121 Wooster St. in the Soho neighborhood of New York city. How exciting! The 4,00 square foot store has a clean, modern feel and offers a curated selection of apparel, shoes, jewelry and handbags for women from the best brands. 

The store will have little kiosks throughout the store that link directly to to offer shoppers additional products online. 

Piperlime opened it's door yesterday(September, 6) for Fashion's Night Out for which they hosted an event. Guest editors Rachel Zoe and Olivia Palermo made an appearance next to DJ Rev Run.

APP: Sleep If You Can / Alarm Clock

Sleep If You Can is the new app everyone is talking about! This alarm clock will only turn off after you have snapped a few photos. Can you believe this? Yeah, so you won't be able to click on the snooze button or silence it until you get out of bed to take an exact picture of the one you shot last night. 

Here's how it works: When you first download the app, Sleep If You Can asks you to photograph different locations or items in your home(obviously locations and items far from your bed). Every time your alarm goes on Sleep If You Can shows you a different photograph for you to capture. The alarm won't stop until you spot and take an identical picture with your smartphone's camera. Great app to get yourself out of your bed! Try it!

ART: The Big Chair Project

The Big Chair Project is the brainchild of "The Better Food Foundation", a charity founded by Jamie Oliver. Back in 2002, Jamie created a unique restaurant group called Fifteen, using the magic of food he gives unemployed young people a chance to have a better future. Thousands of people have graduated from his programs which have helped youngsters become into professional chefs. This year for Fifteen's 10th anniversary, Jamie is celebrating with a "The Big Chair Project" to raise some money for Fifteen's upcoming years. Genius! 

There are 20 artist participating. Each artist was given two Fritz Hansen ANT chairs, one for practice and one for the masterpiece. Chairs will be auctioned and others will be allocated to an online lottery, by purchasing a £5 lottery ticket  you automatically enter in a draw to win a chair of your choice. 

All the artist chairs are on display at Fritz Hansen beautiful store in Central London. You can visit them and see the magnificent chairs in display. Click here for more details:

FR: IRO / Chic & Cool

We can't get enough of this French brand IRO it's chic and cool. Jus recently the brand established in selected retail stores in the US. Bothers Arik and Laurent Britton created the brand by combining street looks and the chic of Paris. The word IRO, in Japanese translates to color. IRO's F/W'12 collection is feminine with a little rock & roll inspiration, this explains the brothers passion for music. 

IRO was launched with a distinctive 70's and 80's vintage feel. Their goal was to have a collection that was at home in New York, Tokyo, and Paris.
