I was looking through my emails and saw a Who,What,Wear email with embellished clutches. As soon as I opened it a clutch adorned with cotton pom pom trim, bright colors and electric beads caught my eye. It's my new bag obsession! And it's from Matthew Willimson's Spring/Summer 2012 Collection.
Here are some pictures and a cool do it yourself project, on how to make your own pom pom clutch. If you decide to try it, send us some pictures to put in Fashionation.

Guiseppe Zanotti always impresses us with his collections of breathtaking shoes which always have an excellent quality of craftsmanship.
This season Zanotti created an exclusive crystal thong sandal, available in bronze or silver. The sleek shine of metallics and the glimmer of crystals create an ultra chic way to bare it all this season.
Thankoon's collaboration with Nars just came out! You can now purchase the same vivid colors seen in his Spring 2012 collection to add some color to your fingertips and toes.
The collection consists of six nail lacquers, five which are shoppable online at Sephora.com and Nordstrom.com for $18(USD) a piece. They named each color with a traditional Indian spice or herb, like Anardana, a vivid pink, takes it's name from the Hindi word for wild pomegranate seeds, and Amchoor, a bright yellow, named after dried ground mango. The sixth color, sold only at the Nars boutique in NY is called Lal Mirchi, a red hot tamale, named after chili peppers. Beautiful vivid colors, i like them all, perfect for Spring!
I was in Mar del Plata, Argentina for the weekend and I fell in love with this French pastry "Saint Jeanne". They have the best macarons!
All of their products are inspired by classic French pastry. High quality is their priority, they use imported ingredients such as Belcolade chocolate from Belgium, cacao and Carma hazelnut spread from Switzerland. YUM!
If you ever go to Mar del Plata, Argentina I suggest you to try this place, it's a take away pastry that's part of the Saint Jeanne Hotel & Spa. The hotel is beautiful and they have a place to dine called "L'Epoque Bistro" which is also great. If you like french food and french pastry this is the place to go. Saint Jeanne not only has great hospitality and food but has a great location, on Guemes, a pedestrian zone full of bars, restaurants, and shops.
Besides the delicious macaroons you can find croissants, pain au Chocolat, Opera pie and Croncorde pie.

Summer fashion always brings tons of bright and fun colors, with different patterns and prints. This Summer 2012 one of the hottest trend is the Ikat dye!
Ikat is an indonesian language word, which depending on the context, can be the nouns: cord, thread, knot and the finished ikat fabric as well as the verbs: "to tie" or "to bind".
Ikat is a dyeing technique used to pattern textiles that employs a resist dyeing process similar to tie-dye. The defining characteristics of ikat is the dyeing of patterns, by means of bindings, into the threads before cloth construction, the weaving of the fabric, takes place. Here lies the difference between ikat and tie-dye. In tie-dye the fabric is woven first and the resist bindings are then applied to the fabric which is dyed.
Ikat is a universal weaving style common in many cultures. It's one of the oldest form of textile decoration.
Ikat weaving styles are widely. Many design motifs may have ethics, rituals, or symbolic meaning. Traditionally, ikat are symbols of status, wealth, power and prestige.
Here are some of my favorite items with ikat:
DVF Urika Printed Ikat Skirt
Joe's Ikat Crops
Anthropologie Ikat Frequencies Shirtdress
Rebecca Minkoff Ikat Becky Jacket
Michael Kors Ikat Print Silk-Blend Straigh-Leg Pant

Vahram Muratyan is a Paris based graphic designer who on an extended stay in New York was feeling a bit homesick and started to think about the similarities and differences, the pros and the cons, the yings and the yangs of the two great cities. He then started a blog, the blog later became a book, "Paris Versus New York, A Tally of Two Cities", a collection of illustrations "dedicated to all lovers of Paris and New York, and to those who are torn between the two".
Established in 1999, under the label Runwaydreamz, designer Christian Yasser Massuh, designs must have one-of-a-kind trends. In 2010 the label look the concept of the denim cut off and revolutionized it into the coveted and innovative trend it is today. The brand is quickly becoming recognized by fashionistas worldwide. Popular in Australia, Japan, France, England, Portugal, Singapore and in all major metropolitan cities in the US such as New York, Los Angeles and Miami. Each piece is made by hand using the highest quality in materials for remarkable special, one of a kind designs. I can't wait to get a pair, they come in various colors with studs in the front or back pocket, in gold or silver. Got to love studs!
