Home-decor designer Jonathan Adler will now be offering his geometric prints on bags, belts, hats, scarves, and small leather goods. The pieces were previewed during August Market Week, and became available in spring on his website, stores and selected boutiques.
"It's amazing to go from being a production potter to expanding into a zillion different categories," Adler said in WWD. "It ain't ready yet, but it'll be ready for fall 2013." He also confirmed that he's creating a jewelry collection and is open to designing apparel, as well.
Expected 300 pieces in an array of colors using materials like leathers, coated canvas, linen, beading, rope and patchwork, WWD reports. Styles included red leather, wallets and change purses with bronze hearts, leather belts with bronze anchors, owls, and key shaped buckles, scarves, hats, and handbags - totes, clutches, cross-body styles, and wristlets.
