Free people has produced two short films to convey the story that takes place in the brand's monthly catalog.
For their first film starring actor Christopher Abbott of the hit the show 'Girls' and model actress Sheila Marquez, the film follows a love story. A touring band member and his bohemian beauty are unexpectedly reunites on a Brooklyn street, and they spend a short time together in the city's boroughs. After sharing a cup of coffee, a game of roshambo leads the lovers on a whirlwind romance, with the day's events building up to what seems to be an inevitable conclusion to their chance encounter. Set to the sounds of Lord Huron's "The Ghost on the Shore", Roshambo brings the narrative of these star-crossed lover to life with a fully flushed out story line and surprising ending.
In Roshambo: Rock, we go back in time to uncover a piece in Sheila and Chris's relationship history before they were reunited to serendipitously on a street in New York. At this point in time, Sheila and Chris have just parted ways, and she finds her world crumbling. To get him off of her mind, her best friends, played by Michele Ouellet and Britt Mare, swoop in and whisk her away to Rio de Janeiro. The three beauties wander the city, throw on electric bikinis to hit the water, and dance the night away when a Spanish love interest, played by polo player Diego Osorio, make his way into picture. . .
