This week Chef Mon Couer is showing us how to make two casual recipes using one same ingredient, portobello mushrooms. Portobello mushrooms are available all year round but the best ones come in spring and fall, so take advantage and create these delicious portobello mushroom recipes this fall season.
Besides, did you know that portobello mushrooms are an excellent source of niacin(Vitamin B3), and a good source of potassium and selenium?
Ingredients:
Hamburger
Buns
Basil
Dried
Tomatoes
Portobello Mushrooms
1 Cup Cream Cheese
1 Tablespoon Pine Nuts
1 Tablespoon of Laurel
Swiss
Cheese
Tortilla
chips
Beef
Skirt
1/2 Cup butter
1 Tablespoon Chives
1 Tablespoon Capers
1 Tablespoon Cilantro
1 Tablespoon Garlic
Instructions:
Chop
the chives, capers, cilantro and garlic and mix it with the butter until you make a butter flavored paste.
Place the cream cheese in a food processor, then with a tablespoon place the basil,
laurel and pine nuts, mix them well.
Finally
put on the grill the portobello mushrooms with the patties and let them mix, place butter for flavor, when they are ready ,place them on bread with basil leaves,
dried tomatoes, cream cheese mix and Swiss cheese.
And
there you have your mega burgers!
