Shopbop / Men

Shopbop.com our favorite women's e-commerce site is about to launch a shopping site for men. According to a report in WWD, Shopbop's parent company, Amazon.com, is keen to up its stakes in the fashion game-the mega-retailer has, in the past few years launched its own flash-sale site, MyHabit.com, acquired Zappos.com, and has vastly expanded its offerings on Amazon.com/fashion/

The new Shopbop for men will feature brands that are he men's equivalent of Shopbop's women's' including Rag&Bone and Alexander Wang.

WWD reported that there will be an appropriate mix of designer that works for this cool guy. The site will launch in the second half of 2013, and will offer free three day worldwide shipping, a  fully translated Mandarin version, and personalized customer service. While it will be completely separate from the women's site, it will be led by the same team that is in charge of Shopbop women.
