Instagram Camera Concept

Are you a Instagram fan? Guess what? Instagram is considering on releasing it's first camera, small in size, looking exactly like the app's icon.

To take pictures you just have to log in to your account (with the built in Wi-Fi) take a picture, choose a filter, hit the print button and there you have it! How easy is that? 1, 2, 3 DONE!

This Polaroid instant camera is just a concept design courtesy of ADR Studio. But we are all hoping they start producing this amazing camera. I hope they make it some day, i bet it would be a huge success just like the app. What do you think? Do you like the idea?

Mother's Day!

Mother's day is celebrated on March 10 of every year. People across the globe take time to do something special to thank their mother for all her help and support during the last year.

Wondering how it all started?

The 1st Mother's Day celebration can be traces back to the ancient Greek Festival dedicated to Rhea, the Mother of Gods. In England, it was in the 1600's when the phrase "Mothering Sunday" was first said.

In Christianity, Mothering Sunday is the fourth Sunday of Lent. As Christianity speed through Europe the celebration evolved to honor both the Mother church and mother's.

In the past, Mothering Sunday was a day when servants were encouraged to return home to spend time with their mothers and families.

Typical gifts included a Mothering Cake or Furmety - a preparation of wheat, milk, sugar and spices. In Northern England and Scotland - pancakes made or steeped peas fried in butter with pepper and salt, was the mouthwatering treat for mothers.

Many countries today celebrate mothers day, but not everyone celebrates it the same day.

So for all the beautiful mother's out there, Happy Mother's Day!!! Treat your mom with a great dinner/lunch/breakfast, flowers, a card, a cake, or a gift. Anything! And remind her how much you care for her, and how much you love her. Nothing will make her happier.

Here are some cute gifts I found online:

MET: Schiaparelly & Prada: Impossible Conversations

The Metropolitan Museum of Art will have a costume exhibition this Spring 2012, Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations, exploring the world's of two Italian designers from different eras. Inspired by Miguel Covarrubias's "Impossible Interviews" for Vanity Fair in the 1930's. The exhibition features orchestrated conversations between these iconic women to suggest new readings of their innovative work. Iconic ensembles are presented with videos of simulated conversations between Schiaparalli and Prada directed by Baz Luhrmann, focusing on how both women explore similar trends in their work through very different approaches.

The exhibition will showcase ninety designs and thirty accessories by Schiaparelli from the late 1920's to early 1950's and by Prada from the late 1980's to the present.

Soludos Espadrilles

If you are looking for nice comfortable shoes, these traditional jute soled shoes are perfect! They are stylish and comfortable throughout the heat of the day. Great for trips to the beach and city walking.

Soludos was founded during a hot New York summer of 2012 when Nick Brown looked for the espadrilles he had grown up wearing as a kid during summers in Spain. He knew the traditional jute soled shoe would be perfect for the city lifestyle.

Finding nothing available he decided to design his own. Giving a nod to the Spanish heritage of the shoe and laid back lifestyle, "Soludos" the Spanish word for "Cheers" and "Sol" for sun were combined, and "Soludos" was born.

Soludos started with friends, family and Soho locals before selling in boutiques in NY and LA. Now "Soludos" can be found in the US, Europe, Japan, Australia, South Africa and Brazil.

Soludos is an affordable stylish brand, with modern designs. I recommend buying a pair for those hot summer days.
