Campbell's Soup turns POP!

Campbell's Soup is releasing a limited edition package of condensed Tomato soup cans to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Andy Warhol's iconic paintings of the product. In 1962, Andy Warhol painted 32 Campbell's Soup cans into canvas which are today valued at hundreds of millions of dollars. The limited-edition cans of Campbell's Condensed Tomato soup with labels derived from original Warhol artwork will be on sale starting September 2nd, for only $.75 USD in most Target(superstores) located nationwide in the USA.

The four specially designed labels reflect Warhol's pop-art style  with bright color combinations like his paintings.

When Warhol was asked why he painted Campbell's Soup cans, Warhol responded:

"I used to have the same (Campbell's Soup) lunch every day for twenty years."
